I understand that there are a lot of different reasons that you might be looking for free e books, and I will try to cover all the possible reasons for you in depth on this website.

This initial post will be more of a short explanation about getting free ebooks and where and why you might need them.

However for now let me just give you a quick outline as to what I cover on that Free E book page.

Before I even start I need to point out a very obvious fact. In life it is generally a safe rule to say that the quality of the written word in books that are for sale would generally be of a much higher standard than a free e book. Please bear that in mind. I myself have hundreds of free e books that I can (and probably will) offer you, and I admit that 80% of those were not written by me, and could be a little suspect.

With the digital world being so easy no navigate – the free ebook idea is used as bait a lot, and you need to see if there is a hook in the “bait” and preferably know what is at the end of the line – before you pick up anything that looks like bait.

LOL – Remember that I myself will be offering you bait all the time…

Firstly the most common type of free e book that are searched for are reports and short e books on specific topics.

• Reports and short niche e books. Very often they will be reports on a specific subject in a specific niche and have enough details for you to fully get what you were looking for. School pupils and scholars are often the biggest searchers for those type of e books as they will very often need then for research for projects and things for their schooling.
• Full length books on a specific subject. These are often more the sort of mixture between a training-how-to-book than a serious fiction or even a non fiction book. Most of the time these can be brilliant or extremely weak. The reason is that very often books in this category are done by the author as a means to be recognized – and generally not for monetary gain.
• Novels. People are always looking for free e books that are just story books. With the huge surge of readers like kindle – you can well believe that there will be a massive growth of e books that are only available in a digital format. In fact I even do personal training for authors that want to learn how to publish their own books on Amazon and other places. Selling your books online has suddenly become something that almost anyone can do if they are willing to do a lot of writing.
• Expired copyright books. This is called public domain  property. What happens is that the rights to a specific work becomes available to anyone to republish and print without needing to pay royalties to anyone. I myself have published such books and have equally spent a lot of time reading the same books. I went and downloaded a bunch of novels that I enjoy and read them one by one.
• Marketing related reports. While this is generally covered in the first two topics, you will find a lot of free e books that are really just teasers, meant to get you interested and leave you wanting more. I have a few of those myself, and use then for one very important reason. Most of the time people have not read this far into a post (you are an exception) and they really would prefer to get a free download to read at their own pace. Now this works well for me because once you have left this site – you are really gone, but if you downloaded my free e book, then it is still there on your hard drive. Better for me.
